Imperfect Repetition Creates Perfection

All of creation has one thing in common.

A thought struck about building blocks and blueprints, like how we first create the blueprint and then lay each brick to create an infrastructure.

The same corresponds to how one idea brings a network of people together to bring an idea to fruition.

A dream creates inspiration to act on our motivations to create that dream a reality,

Or how a few random paint strokes serve as the foundation of a piece of artwork.

A few pieces of content create inspiration for the next, and it keeps going and going.

Many people in the past who’ve started a creative project simply began because they followed their intuition, despite not knowing what they were doing.

You’ll often see these patterns depending on who you surround yourself with: it can come in the forms of starting a lousy business, creating a song, writing a piece of literature, painting their first canvas or posting a YouTube video, it may not be the greatest, but it’s that first piece that serves as a feedback loop for their next attempt.

Imagine you get dropped into a maze you’ve never been in before, you won’t know how to navigate your way to get to the end destination until you’ve identified what paths lead where.

You are entering uncharted territories and will only ever know your way through the maze by exploring new doors and pathways.

The whole process begins with the first step, consistency requires a level of understanding that the knowledge comes along the way rather than attempting to observe from the outside looking in.

You can't know all the doorways to get to where you want to be just by simple observation alone.

Otherwise, the mountain won't be ascended from just staring at how how high it is - this creates overwhelm and anxiety that will prevent people from starting, which is mostly due to:

  • Fear of failure

  • Fear of embarrassment

  • Fear of the unknown

The next 10 steps don’t need to be clear, the path is figured out by just 1 step at a time.

Correspondingly, writing is taking mental footsteps into the general direction to foster new ideas and skills.

It create's neural networks to tie in with other concepts that can unlock a deeper understanding of navigating your own life.

You will not make any progress by staying vacant and doing the same mundane routines every single day.

Like most people, myself included, we go to school or a 9-5 job and we come home to sit and relax consuming media and indulging in comfort foods.

However,

Vacancy leads to entropy, if we don’t create something, we’re neglecting our inner-human nature which leads to a depressing downward spiral.

Everyone’s path is different in terms of what they want to create.

It can be a business, books, music, dance choreographies, movies, photography, whatever.

But to become better at those: you need to have something to look back on to create something better.

The quantity of inputs matters a hell of a lot more than the quality.

With more repetition, paradoxically, the quality increases.

Because with more repetition, you’ll be obligated to develop the skills to overcome the inevitable obstacles down the line.

It’s simple, but it’s often something people tend to forget. They think it needs to be perfect right off the bat - and if they don’t get great results the first time, they quit.

Consistency is much easier when you’re passionate about what it is you do.

If that passion hasn’t been identified yet, the only way to uncover that is by giving yourself exposure to different potentials.

  • You won’t know you enjoy making YouTube videos unless you start.

  • You won’t know what song to create until you have something to edit.

  • You won’t know what business idea to develop until you find what works and what doesn’t.

  • You won’t identify what projects to work on until you start the first.

Do not underestimate the power of doing something insignificant, like writing your ideas down on paper, or it could be anything that points in the general direction.

Those ideas can transform into something entirely new you wouldn't have thought of in the first place.

The more you do, your field of awareness expands.

More power to yourself by taking extreme accountability, and that comes with solely focusing inward rather than the external.

Don't worry about what others think.

Your path is between you and God.

Trust in God’s plan, and if that’s not something you believe in,

Trust in yourself.
